in the New Testaccio Market called Mordi e Vai. You can go and get a sandwich with bits of oxtail or boiled beef and it's all drenched in this really delectable oil. They sell really flavorful things for a price that everyone can afford -- these sandwiches cost 3 euros.
00100 Pizza, was a little hole-in-the-wall, pizza-by-the-slice shop that really took off because of his street food invention called the trapizzino. It's a spongy piece of flatbread that's sliced open and filled with braised meat stews or chicken with bell peppers, typical Roman mains that are transformed into a portable and inexpensive form.

Known to locals as the best place to get traditional Roman style thin-crust pizza in Trastevere, this rowdy but charming pizzeria is great for a quick, delicious snack
Da Enzo is a local favorite which has remained entirely authentic whilst avoiding becoming a tourist trap. This is a tiny hole in the wall compared to many of the trattorias in the area yet it’s bursting with exuberant staff and incredible food. The best thing about Da Enzo is its cheese, with the burrata d’Andria seemingly everyone’s favorite dish on the menu. This is served with tomatoes and bread, which can be dipped into the creamy, delicious cheese. The carciofi alla giudia (Jewish-style artichokes) are also a highlight and the the tiramisu also goes down a treat.
Whilst it has the potential to seem like a tourist trap – checkered red tablecloths for example – Popi Popi is the ideal place for a smaller budget. The menu offers simple favorites such as pasta, antipasti, pizza made to a very high standard.

Best cheap eats: Pastificio
Centro Storico A few minutes on foot from the Spanish Steps, this small neighborhood shop serves freshly made pasta and a bit of wine for a whopping €4. Every day, Pastificio whips up two hot pasta dishes for the lunch and dinner crowds. Expect to eat between shelves of dried spaghetti while you sip your small plastic cup of vino.
Best late-night eats: Trapizzino
Ostiense Romans love to stumble out of nightclubs and hit up... the pastry shop. If savory midnight snacks are more your style, fork out €3.50 for a trapizzino -- pizza bianca cut into a triangle and stuffed with slow-simmered meats and vegetables. Think of it as the best pizza/pita/meatball sub hybrid you'll ever eat.
Best literal hole in the wall: Pianostrada
Trastevere After a bus ride or two, you may notice that personal space isn't really a thing in Rome. Embrace it, and squeeze yourself into Pianostrada: a small garage along a tiny backstreet that has been converted into a galley-style kitchen and dining area.

Lunch was so good, we came back the same day for dinner. Portions are huge. I loved the bucatini al ragu - very tasty sauce. My nephew had a calzone that was almost as big as his head! Quality food and great prices.
. Trastevere has so many restaurants with beautiful terraces and ambience. Dar Poeta is for sure not one of them. I'd say go to this place if you're not looking for the ambience but looking for a good service/ smily faces and very good pizza.
Most of the pizzas are 9 euro.
